Description
After a dramatic attempt to reach the North Pole by seaplane in 1925, Roald Amundsen and Lincoln Ellsworth got in touch with the Italian airship designer Umberto Nobile. In 1926, the Nobile airship “Norway” flew through Europe to Norway and Svalbard.
