Shackleton Autumn School – CRS mobile cold storage

Our friends in CRS Mobile Cold Storage  surprised us by loaning us one of their mobile freezer rooms for the 2024 Shackleton Autumn School. It arrived this morning and is now cooling down to a polar -30 degrees centigrade!

The school students have been told to bring their warm hats and gloves – standing in the cold room for a minute makes it clear why these are needed. So, Shackleton Autumn School attendees will be able to experience a little of Antarctica without going further than Athy….thanks again to the people at CRS.
